Thinking of things to put down on this blog can be difficult as Melissa has pointed out so well. One cannot use it as a diary and expose "very personal" thoughts and ideas. No way, Jose! So, I will just have to think of something to say on here.
I have continued to practice editing pictures. I have even made some paper dolls which will be printed up eventually and given as gifts to said children. I do have three detailed sets of instructions (each is different) on printing them, making them sturdy etc. I will figure it out. I will do so because I like giving unique gifts. It's more meaningful and more fun for me to do so.
I have printed up several different kinds of paper dolls. I had to do a kind of cartoonizing of the kids' faces and make them blend into the doll forms. I think they turned out quite well. there are even clothes to go with them. This kind of thing is very exciting for me. Once I have completed the whole project, I will be happy. Thinking of and then succeeding at a project gives me a sense of true accomplishment and a sense of "you ain't half bad." I enjoy thinking of and working on projects, but there is so much more to it than that. I can't seem to find the words to describe it. So, I will put a couple of samples of those paper dolls on here, and then when I have actually finished them, I will let you know. TTFN (P.S.---The color around the Sadie doll is of no consequence. It gets trimmed off after all)

Those are so cool. I loved playing with paper dolls when I was a kid. It would have been so fun to have one that looked like me. I can tell who the last 2 are: Sadie and Sophie, but I can't tell who the first one is. What a neat gift to give them for Christmas.
You are talented, Sandra Dee, and you use your talents to make others happy. I'm proud of you!
Thanks Madre. Luana, the first paper doll is also Sophie. In fact I used the same picture for both. Different styles make the face look different. I've done one of Cortnie and another of Lexie too.
Sophie looks much more like herself in the last one. That is weird that the style can change the face. But after you told me they were both her from the same pic, I could pick see the resemblance.
These are so cool. I loved paper dolls. They were so fun. the kids will enjoy these lots
