I am planning to try building a new gate for the area between the two driveways. That one is about as ratty as can be, but it looks simple enough. I'll just measure, and have the wood cut to those sizes. I also want to replace the few boards that have broken off the fence, and then tackle the painting. Of course, I will wait until it gets warmer. But, I am sick of the way the fence and gate look. They shouldn't be too hard. time consuming, yes, but not difficult. But I STILL HATE YARD WORK!!!!!!
Kris may plant a couple of tomato plants this year, and will plant NOTHING! I don't have a green thumb. Instead, I tend to kill things off. But, that is quite alright with me. I don't like planting things. I don't like anything about gardening or yards. If I had the money as well as my way, the whole back yard would be a ginormous patio. Kris could put pots of flowers out. I could put fake stuff out, and life would be good. Well cared for grass looks nice and is nice to sit on. But, it takes much needed water. Our water honestly shouldn't be wasted on grass----vegetables, fruits, flowers, trees---yes. But a large yard requires way too much water to thrive. Besides, did I say that I HATE YARD WORK!!!!!
Anyway, we got some good exercise over the past two days which I am grateful for. I am not grateful for the sneezing and the swollen eyes though. It hurt my right shoulder some, but I've been taking an anti inflammatory for that, so it's still not like it was before. Kris's legs hurt, mine are fine. And, tomorrow we get to go see popcorn----I mean a movie and eat popcorn. Hooray!!!! Still, for your viewing pleasure, I am putting photos of the back up. I wish we had taken before photos so that you could see just how much we did. There are 14 very large, full bags, and two trash cans stuffed full too. So, TTFN

What movie did you go see?
Luana, I love yard work. It's the best! We saw Knowing with Nicolas Cage. It was very good, and the popcorn was just as good.....
