It was a hectic day. the chicken was nasty according to moi. All the wings were placed at the bottom of the box of 100 pieces. Yes, Smelissa ordered way too much. Anyway, because they were all at the bottom, the wings were mushy rather than nice and crispy. So, I ate garlic cheese bread. WooHoo!
I did get many photos, I shot bows and arrows with Nicholas, helped him and Lexie a bit with their craft items, and enjoyed seeing Sam, Mike, and little Hillary. She is smaller these days. Now that she is walking, and I mean practically running, she is slimming down a bit. I'm sure that with time, she will slim down a lot. She eats a very healthy diet since Sam and Mike do too.

Nicholas loved lavishing his attention on both Hillary and Kyle. but, because Hillary responded so well to him, she got the most. He thinks she is just adorable. he loves her little frowny mouth which makes her fit right into this family.
Hillary grabbed Kyle's little monkey---a foam craft thing---and broke one of the arms off. So, Amy made him a new one, but he let us know all about it---"Gibberish gibberish---beebee Gibberish." He added lots of inflection to his message to us. It was funny, but you really had to be there.
After the 4th, mom has seen Dr. Benson, he says she is doing well except for the atrial fibrillation which he can do nothing about (makes her a stroke risk), but she has lost some of the fluid etc. So, she doesn't need to go back to him until September.
The weather here (for the one of you who is so far away) has been unlike our normal weather for this time of year. We have not had any super hot days yet. I do like that. we've had more rain than normal with flooding south of town and flooding in Inkom. It's just been weird. But, we've hardly had to use the sprinklers yet. I hope that continues.
I have written a story, but that will be talked about more at a later time. It's a kids story, and I have submitted it---nuff said until later. Have a good one. TTFN

We have been having some unseasonal cool weather also. However, I still have to water. My lawn burns up very easily. Our temps have been in the 60's and 70's during the day and down into the 50's at night. I had to wear a sweater two days ago. That was weird. Glad mom's doing better. Evan's mom is in the ICU with double pneumonia!
